The Art of Poker

If you ask someone to describe art, no doubt first they will look at you confused and then launch into what they know as art. The thing is, that art is in so many forms that it is hard to describe just one kind. Dance and music are as much considered arts as painting and sculpting. Taking photos is another art form that most people don’t realize that they are doing until it is pointed out.

There are even various forms of art within the art. Sculptors who work with clay and those who weld their masterpieces together are both considered sculptors however you can see that obviously the two crafts are very different. The same holds true of painters, or even those who take pictures. Clothing and hair design is it’s own art form, that is more known as fashion then art. However the design and creation of runway clothes, is an art.

Some of the most popular forms of art are those that anyone can pick up in a simple craft store. People love to express themselves through any creative art, and although their works may not end up in a museum it does make them happy to pursue their craft. It is very easy for someone to get started painting by picking up a few water colours and an easel. While nothing ventured is nothing gained, no one wants to try enrolling in art school, only to find out that they have no natural talent for it.

All art forms can be taught. There are people all over the world and in well known schools that are willing to share the knowledge that they have gained over the years. However, with art what usually stands out more is the natural talent that people have instead of what they learn from a classroom. If you look back at any of the famous artists, it was apparent while they were very young, or just starting their career that there was something there early on.

Those who choose to express their art to the world must have a layer of thick skin. Everyone likes to criticize all art forms, either loving it, or dismissing it as garbage. This is true of dancers, singers, musicians just the same as painters and sculptors. No one who makes a living from their art form will tell you to do it, just for the love of money. Of course everyone has dreams of being famous and being able to do what they love every day, but you have to love the art first, and do it for yourself, or you will burnt out trying to please everyone.

No matter which form of art in the world you chose to love or pursue, there is something out there for everyone. There are very few people who can say that they do not partake in any form of art. Most people care about what they wear, or at least what they listen to, and just by having a preference in those things, you are experiencing and partaking in art.
