Prints and Illustrations
All of my tessellation / geometry related works are digital archived images. My two dimensional works exist as original illustrations using gouache or watercolor and limited edition silk screen prints.
I have done 10 of my tessellation images as limited edition silk screen prints. The edition size for each print image is 125. Each print is hand printed on Archival AF Arches 88 paper, annotated on the lower left, and signed on the lower right. The paper size is 15"x11", and the image is approximately 11"x 8". Each print comes with my Certificate of Authenticity. The prints are unframed or matted, and are individually priced at $15 each, or, both the 1999 full set of five (A Salute to Escher, Bunnies and Cats, Polar Bears, Rabbits, and a A Leap of Frogs) and the 2000 full set of five ( Dragon Fly/Frog/Cat, Dalmatian, Clown/Woodpecker, Cat/Cat, and Seattle's Princess Angeline)) are each special priced at $75. Screen printing: I searched for several years before finding a screen printer who was as much a craftsman at the printing process as I was a perfectionist at designing my tessellation images. My images often require a very tight registration. Joe Barela, of Seribellum Press, is a skilled printer who excels at striving for a goal of perfection. We worked together as a team in creating the prints for my collection. I did all the prepress design work that Joe then utilized to make the individual screens required for the actual printing process. Every screen print in the Landry Art collection is the individual hand printed result of intense concentration and attention to detail, and provides testimony to superb craftsmanship.
